New Ulm, MN 2/25/2016 – Michael Poppler, Systems Support Technician at Thriveon, has attained the CompTIA A+ Certification. This credential signifies Michael’s solid knowledge of Tier One Help Desk processes and his motivation to continue his professional education and advance is tech career in the Information and Technology industry. The certification process consists of coursework and two rigorous exams facilitated by CompTIA, a vendor neutral industry organization.
“Although I just completed my B.S. degree last year, I knew that taking the course would help me advance my career,” says Michael. “I was fortunate that my employer covered the cost for the training and the exams. It’s evident that Thriveon is a company that really values learning and supports employees’ desires to increase their knowledge and skills, and pursue advanced credentials.”
Michael began his employment at Thriveon after graduation from St. Cloud State University in May of 2015. As a Tier One Systems Support Technician, he works directly with clients to assess and resolve support requests. In addition to utilizing his knowledge of hardware and software technologies, Michael is skilled in applying problem solving techniques and expert communication to help clients on a daily basis.
“Michael has been phenomenal in his position,” says Jake Bloedow, Service Manager for Thriveon. “He’s good at making judgment calls and is always willing to take on new challenges. He has also contributed some great ideas on how to better our team and deliver a better client experience.”
