Jake Bloedow Presents to Industry Peers at National Event

Thriveon’s focus on customer results was the impetus behind participation in the beta test of an improved network monitoring tool. It’s common for managed IT service providers to include network monitoring as a part of their monthly services, but most companies have not taken monitoring to the same level as Thriveon. This is because of Thriveon’s approach and how their goals mesh with clients’ goals.

Leading the Way for Industry Peers

Thriveon Service Manager Jake Bloedow was invited to speak about the company’s experience with the beta test at Navigate, an annual event hosted by Continuum, an IT management platform company. In addition to the invitation to participate in the test, Thriveon’s input was integral to Continuum's decision to enhance its network monitoring capabilities by integrating services from Auvik, a network-focused software company.

“What we are doing is cutting edge,” said Bloedow. “We’re helping to set the standard for a new normal in monitoring. The sense I got at the conference was that most other MSPs haven’t even thought of this yet. To us, it’s a natural progression in the maturity of our company and the services we provide as we share our clients' goals."

Sharing Goals Is Integral to Thriveon’s Approach

Unlike other MSPs, Thriveon offers fully managed services, not monthly blocks of time or simple deployment of technology tools. Thriveon’s approach focuses on the client’s business goals and leverages technology to meet those goals. In the case of network monitoring, it’s in the client's best interests to have maximum uptime and performance, so Thriveon has been proactive about continuously improving its capabilities to provide the visibility and data needed to create a reliable framework that makes it possible to leverage IT.

What You Should Ask Your IT Support Company

Business executives and owners don't need to know the tools your IT support company uses to manage your IT. That doesn't mean you can't ask them, "Why don't we have a faster network and better uptime?" If you aren't satisfied with their answer, it might be time to look for a new IT managed service provider.
